How MVMT implemented a new email campaign strategy and program that increased conversion rates by more then 50%. 

With more then 1.5 million followers on social media MVMT is a force to be reckoned with. Since inception in 2013 the brand was built with a “social-first” strategy but recently has started to lean in and focus on email marketing to increase sales.

In looking to expand on and enhance their existing email marketing program the brand wanted to not only create another revenue channel, but also to engage with their followers and customers in new and creative ways.

Developing a solid email go-to-market strategy was an opportunity to communicate in-depth information about the brand, and spotlight relevant products to segmented targeted audiences.

First, MVMT went to work on establishing a consistent cadence for email messaging, and then moved on to developing a newsletter editorial calendar that showcased engaging content as well as exclusive discounts and sales. A new optimized email design was also developed that spotlighted calls to action and clarified the focus of each campaign.

As a result, MVMT saw immediate and substantial gains in email performance: the first three months of implementation MVMT saw email conversion rates grow by 55% compared with the prior three months. And email-generated sales more than doubled in the same time frame.
